Got an idea for the campaign?
Think we’re missing an opportunity?
Tell us about it here. The future of our club depends on your ideas.
Everything we as fans are doing to try and get the owners out of the club was originally the idea of someone – one of the fans – one of you. There is no secret committee deciding everything in private. If you have an idea, we want to hear it, for it to be discussed with other fans to be improved, refined, publicised and acted on.
We have a few guidelines to bear in mind, for this campaign to be effective:
- Be funny. Check the image galleries for examples of how humour can get a point across more sharply than a dry list of facts and figures.
- Be open. If you have an idea, post it. It doesn’t matter if it’s unfinished, if it’s crap, or if it’s being considered before. This is a forum for open discussion, not for competing for the “best” idea. Sometimes the simplest ideas can be the most effective.
- This is not an Anti-American campaign. We are against the owners because they’re liars and leeches, not because of their nationality. Steer clear of anti-American imagery or language. Some of the most active people involved in this campaign are Americans.
- This campaign does not and can not endorse any action which is illegal, dangerous or may lead to physical confrontation. Be naughty, be cheeky, be innovative: but stay legal and safe.
The future of our club depends on your ideas.

Lets all show we mean business. Lets boycott the UEFA cup game on JUly 29th, and set up a protest outside the ground.
I read an idea on one of the forums about bombarding the directors box with paper planes when the ref blows his whistle in our first home match. That sounded like a brilliant idea.
also, we have seen a number of initiatives (mosttly started by that stalwart FS on RAWK) to raise awarenes and such, I would like to see the same involvement & enthusiasm given to obtaining supporters ownership of y-our club…
I wrote some letters like this..
Dear *******
“I am writing to all current and ex – LFC players, and “celebrities” who claim to be Lfc supporters/fans. On behalf of the global network of Liverpool supporers and fans, of which it is estimated there are over one million of us. We intend to raise sufficient funds a.s.a.P. to take control of Lfc. WE DO NOT WANT ANY FINANCIAL exploitation of our club, or sell off of our traditional values to continue. We believe that any player or ex-player (or fan) who REALLY cares about this club will join our initiative. We are not waiting for SOS/ShareLfc but we are open to co-operation with them. We are asking Supporters , fans , friends and families to donate an estimated 10% of their annual expenditure on LFC – related activiities ; tickets, travel, souvenirs, replica kit, and food /drinks to a fund.
The first step is for each person to open a saving account with their own bank. We will then begin negociations with the “chairman” and seek a “neutral” bank to co-ordinate with the numerous banks in due course, should we agree a FAIR price on y-our behalf. There is NO RISK for you as we shall only call on you to transfer funds when/if we achieve our goal.
We do not wish to debate strategy in this communication. If you are seriously committed to the same ideals and love for Liverpool’s future we welcome your questions via email to ball_can_Reds@mypod-net.org
with hope in y-our hearts”
WHY NOT?
…..write your own version, OBVIOUSLY now that ShareLfc & SoS (credit Union) have agreed to proceed with a supporters buy out/in ..
you can refer to the supporters iniative or write a personal appeal.. choose a player, ex-player or “celeb” ..if everyone done this it would snowball and make sure that anyone connected with LFC is “on the same page” ????
according to LFC.Tv here is a list of celebreties alledgedly calling themselves “Lfc fans”…make what you can of it?
“After much extensive research, Liverpoolfc.tv are proud to present the top 106 celebrity fans of England’s most successful football club.

I have no ideas at the moment but a strong belief that the owners will leave the club only if the club stops being a viable business for them or somebody buys it off them at ridiculous prices.
I’m sure massive boycott of games will hurt them, but I believe this won’t happen – there’s enough fans out there that take football as entertainment or a hobby.
While it’s good to continue to educate and enlighten fans and hope to achieve critical mass to change the social mood, I’m hoping some great minds out there have a eureka moment on how to hurt them financially – and I mean really hurt them!
wtf’s an html tag guys?
Following roy’s call for us to get over here from RAWK if we’re prepared to help out; got a few hours this week – anything I can do from Cambridge area on the end of a computer?
Not sure if this in the right place, but given the recent moodswings as hopes of a sale has risen and fallen and the overall militancy of the support has simply fallen while the majority wait and hope – is it time for a change of tack?
Everyone gets that G&H need to bucked out, but maybe we need to strike a different chord – building the pressure for and credibility of supporter ownership. Is it worth Save LFC contacting SoS to see if there are ways we could promote their supporter ownership plans. The credit union seems like a well devised and realistic mechanism to amass the cash to get noticed and involved in negotiations – imagine if supporters had aeven a few million to put on the table right now.
Or, perhaps the more urgent need is to apply pressure on RBS, and ideally Broughton, to ensure they’re aware of the consequences, for their business or reputation respectively, of failing to see off G&H’s grim efforts to cling on – there must be imagery to work with there. If this is going to have an impact, it needs to start now though.
This is what I think we should be doing, there is a post on the LFC.TV forum about an article by Ian Ayre, commercial director for those that don’t know. Well he is bragging about all our commercial successes…It’s also a handy little guideline for the fans on how we can hurt H&G where it hurts most
He does highlight the clubs commercial successes in terms of kit sales, facebook, TV, Twitter etc. I suggest we hit them right there.
