Save LFC is a collective of Liverpool fans campaigning for fit and proper ownership for Liverpool Football club, something the club has not enjoyed for quite some time.
Anyone who shares this goal is welcome to offer their services and help out. The group already boasts serious talent in fields such as marketing, video, graphics and design.
Save LFC’s aim is simple; to raise awareness of the club’s situation amongst supporters, by reaching out to them in a way that appears unique and innovative using a range of media, from viral marketing and social networking to traditional leafleting and (hopefully) newspaper advertising.
They hope that, by making people aware of the issues and showing them how they can make a difference, more supporters will be motivated to join the various campaigns against the club’s owners and board. As such they should be seen as complementary to, rather than in competition with, the supporters’ union ‘Spirit of Shankly’.
