This summer Liverpool fans took their Save Liverpool campaign to the World Cup in South Africa – in the form of 4 banners (The Spirit of Shankly supporters union also had a similar banner there with their ‘Tom & George – not welcome anywhere’ message on it). The banners were designed to raise awareness on the World stage about what is going on at the club and the need to get Tom Hicks and George Gillett out of the club.
